A survey of key concepts in behavioral ecology.  Team-based learning course utilizing a “flipped classroom”

Mechanisms of Behavior
This is a team-based discussion course with heavy emphasis on presenting, discussing, and writing about published research in the area of the proximate mechanisms that underlie behavior. I teach this course in spring semesters alternating with Principles of Behavioral Ecology.


Fall semesters

Comparative Animal Behavior
A lecture course surveying the major themes and topics in animal behavior with focus on modern research approaches
